Kasia Grzelkowski is the President and CEO of VersAbility Resources, a nonprofit serving 1,700 people with disabilities in early childhood, community living, day support, and employment programs that include nationwide federal contracting and manufacturing for diverse industries.  She received both her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees from Cornell University.  Kasia is the Treasurer of Greater Peninsula Now and a former Chair of the Virginia Peninsula Chamber of Commerce.  She is a member of the AbilityOne CEO Roundtable, RVA –Hampton Roads Collaborative, Academies of Hampton Steering Committee, and serves on the Boards of the Hampton Roads Chamber, the Hampton Roads Workforce Council, and vaACCSES. She is participating in Lead Virginia and is an alumna of the CIVIC Leadership Institute and LEAD Peninsula. Kasia has received an Entrepreneurial Excellence Award and been recognized as a Woman of Distinction and member of the Hampton Roads Power List

Chief Financial Officer

Tammy Robbs is the Chief Financial Officer for VersAbility Resources and is responsible for the organization’s financial performance, including cash management, operations, regulatory compliance, and reporting of budgeted revenues of $43 million.  Tammy is a Certified Public Accountant and a Certified Global Management Accountant with extensive experience in financial planning and analysis, risk management, profit and loss management, inventory control and financial and strategic planning.  She received her Bachelor’s degree in accounting from Christopher Newport University with honors.  Prior to joining VersAbility as Accounting Manager and then Controller, Robbs served as the Accounting Director at International Training, Inc.  In this role, she oversaw the organization’s daily financial operations, establishing and maintaining accounting policies and procedures for locations in three states.  She is a member of the AICPA and the VSCPA.

Chief Community Living Officer

Linda Kerns is the Chief Community Living Officer for VersAbility Resources and, as such is responsible for six Intermediate Care facilities and four DD waiver funded homes for adults with intellectual disabilities in Hampton, Newport News, and York County.   In addition, she manages two Day Support programs.  Linda serves as the cochair of the State ICFIID providers network. She is on the State DBHDS Regional Quality Council, the State DBHDS Peninsula Housing Council, the REACH Advisory Council and  the Virginia Network of Private Providers organization. She served as the President of the Peninsula Mental Health Association for multiple years. Linda received her Bachelor’s of Social Work degree from East Tennessee State University receiving the Most Distinguished Student award.  She began her career developing hospital social work departments in North Carolina, Virginia, Kansas and California.

When Linda returned to Newport News where she was born and raised, she began her career in developing community- based services: emergency services, case management, residential, outpatient, and day support for individuals with behavioral health needs. She received her Master’s in Social Work degree from Norfolk State University and is Licensed as a Clinical Social Worker.  She maintains her memberships in the Virginia and National Social Work organizations.  She is also a Y500 Certified YOGA instructor and the parent of an adopted SPCA special needs cat, Cleo.

Renea’s educational background includes a BS and MS Degree in Human Resource Management.  Her passion for Human Resources came about after working as a manager for a multi-million dollar company and witnessing how Human Resource was utilized as a strategic partner for business growth. “There is no day that is ever the same in this field and that is one of the many reasons I love what I do.” Renea has over a decade of Human Resource experience ranging from compensation and performance management, to strategic planning and operations. Prior to coming to Versability Resources she worked as a Director of Human Resources for a thriving Government Contractor. Renea has a passion for helping people and being an advocate for those that need it most.
