Being part of the community and living as independently as possible is a key contributor to quality of life, a common thread valued by both people with or without disabilities. VersAbility Resources provides safe, supportive homes for people with disabilities. We embrace the neighborhoods our homes are located in and consistently receive exceptional ratings during announced and unannounced inspections by the Virginia Department of Health.
We provide community living and residential services at eight homes in Hampton, Newport News, and York County. Our homes are unique in that they offer a variety of leisure and recreation activities. Staff develops monthly activity calendars with input from the residents and our Therapeutic Recreation Specialist helps incorporate exercise into daily routines.
We work directly with people seeking housing support, aging parents needing assistance for adult children, families that may be moving their loved ones out of an institution, or who want a more independent living option nearby.
Caring staff provides support 24/7. Nurses and dieticians are available for both long- and short-term health needs.
VersAbility Resources is an equal housing opportunity provider and does business in accordance with the Fair Housing Amendment. We are licensed through the Virginia Department of Health.
