What a pleasure and honor it was to have our VersAbility Resources team serve the US Navy and Marines a holiday brunch earlier this month at Dam Neck!

VersAbility Resources is proud to contract with the US Navy and Air Force to employ people with disabilities throughout the nation! We are the prime contractor for loading food on ships for the Navy at eight locations nationwide and partner with several federal employers to offer career opportunities in multiple areas.

Our employees regularly receive commendations for their quality work and are honored to serve their nation!

Individuals in VersAbility Resources’ Day Suppor

Individuals in VersAbility Resources’ Day Support Program experienced a day of joy, community and celebration aboard the Spirit of Norfolk Dec. 19 thanks to generous donations received from the community as part of a Giving Tuesday fundraising campaign.

“We’re on a mission to empower individuals living with disabilities to lead full, meaningful lives of their own choosing,” said Kasia Grzelkowski, CEO of VersAbility. “The holiday season is a time for magic and connection, and we’re committed to ensuring everyone has the chance to feel included in its joy. For many of our participants, this holiday cruise was their first experience of its kind. Thanks to the incredible support we received, we were able to provide our Day Support Program participants with an unforgettable celebration that embodied the true spirit of the season—connection, inclusion, and pure joy.”

VersAbility raised nearly $2,000 to fund this memorable holiday experience for 30 adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

VersAbility’s Day Support program helps underserved adults and seniors with disabilities reach their highest level of independence and community engagement. The people served by this valuable program participate in a range of volunteer activities and projects within the community, enjoy arts and crafts, independently choose activities they have interests in, and participate in local recreational outings to parks, museums and events.

We had one EPIC toy giveaway with one EPIC elf thanks to one EPIC organization!

A heartfelt THANK YOU goes out to the Warwick Moose Lodge for their incredible generosity this holiday season! Their donation of toys brought so much joy to the children in VersAbility’s EPIC (Early Prevention and Intervention for Children) program.

This year’s drive-through toy giveaway was a huge success, spreading smiles and holiday cheer to families in our community.

We are so grateful for partners like this who make the season bright for those we serve. Together, we’re creating unforgettable holiday memories! 🌟
