"When you have a disability, knowing you are not d "When you have a disability, knowing you are not defined by it is the sweetest feeling." - Anne Strike
On May 22, VersAbility Resources hosted Bloom Ball On May 22, VersAbility Resources hosted Bloom Ball — a prom-style celebration created especially for individuals in our Day Support Program — and it was everything we hoped it would be and more.

More than just a dance, Bloom Ball gave participants the chance to dress up, shine, and soak in a night built entirely around them — full of confidence, connection, and pure joy.

There was music and dancing, photos and laughter, and so many shared moments between friends, participants, and staff that reminded us exactly why this program matters.

Events like Bloom Ball are at the heart of what our Day Support Program is all about — creating space where every individual feels seen, supported, and celebrated for exactly who they are.

This year’s celebration did just that, and then some.

Scroll through the gallery below and relive a few of our favorite moments from this unforgettable evening.

Kasia Grzelkowski, President and CEO of VersAbility Resources, has been named among the Top 25 most influential leaders in Hampton Roads by Inside Business — recognition that speaks not just to her two decades of leadership, but to the mission she's advanced every step of the way.

Under her leadership, VersAbility Resources has grown into a regional force: employment programs, community living, early childhood services, and VersAbility TECH — an inclusive workforce training initiative connecting people of all abilities to high-demand careers across Hampton Roads industries.

Congratulations, Kasia. Hampton Roads is better because of the work you lead.
