When Brittany Hollis welcomed her twin boys, Travi

When Brittany Hollis welcomed her twin boys, Travis and Tanner, into the world, she had no idea of the challenges that lay ahead. Born prematurely at 32 weeks, the twins faced significant developmental delays. As they grew, Brittany noticed they were struggling with speech and mobility. As a single mother navigating the uncertainty of early childhood disabilities during the COVID-19 pandemic, she knew she needed help but wasn’t sure where to turn. That’s when she found VersAbility Resources’ EPIC Program, a decision that would change her family’s life forever.

Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! Thank you to the Bernardine Franciscan Sisters Foundation for believing so deeply in the VersAbility Resources mission and awarding us a $20,000 grant to support our EPIC (Early Prevention and Intervention for Children) and Intermediate Care Facility (ICF) programs.

The EPIC funding will support general operating expenses for early intervention services to children under age 3 with developmental delays, including developmental screenings, service coordination, IFSP implementation and additional home visits. The funding helps ensure services remain accessible regardless of a family’s ability to pay.

The ICF support will fund the creation of a sensory room designed for elderly individuals with intellectual disabilities. The room will include therapeutic tools and interactive technology to improve cognitive, physical and emotional well-being, enhance communication, and promote a calming and inclusive environment.
